Product photo editor - white background photos for Allegro, OLX, Vinted and online shops

Drag & drop files here

or click to choose from your device

JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC · up to 30 photos, 50 MB each · you can also paste a photo (Ctrl+V)

Where are you selling?

The first photo needs a pure white background with no text, shop logo or watermark. Personal accounts can add 10 photos, business accounts 16.

The check covers size, file weight, format, photo count, background colour and product position. It does not look for text, logos or faces in the photo and cannot guarantee that the marketplace will accept it.

Your photos stay on your device. The only downloads are the AI model and the files needed to run it, and only when you turn on background removal.

Add up to 30 product photos, pick a platform and download a ZIP of numbered files with the same background, margins and size. Your photos never leave your device. The AI model for background removal (about 100 MB) downloads once, and only if you turn it on.

How to prepare product photos for your listings

  1. 1.

    Add your photos

Drag JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC files onto the drop area, pick them from your device or paste with Ctrl+V. You can add up to 30 photos at a time, each up to 50 MB. Studio then opens full screen. Close it with "Close Studio" or the back button in your browser.

  2. 2.

    Choose a platform

The Allegro, Allegro Fashion, OLX, Vinted, Online shop or Custom profile sets the size, aspect ratio, format, background and margin. Next to the profile you see the date the requirements were checked and a link to the source.

  3. 3.

    Set up the whole batch

Studio replaces a plain background with the one you pick, even without AI. Turn on "Remove background (AI)" if the background in your photos is patterned or busy. Pick the margin and background. Under "More settings" you can change brightness, contrast, aspect ratio, size, format, quality, file size limit, logo and file name.

  4. 4.

    Check the result

Compare before and after, or open the grid of all results. Notes on each photo point out low resolution, a busy background or a product too close to the edge. You can fix one photo under "This photo" without touching the others.

  5. 5.

    Download the ZIP

Files are numbered in list order, so photo 1 is your main photo. Drag photos to change the order before you download. You can also download a single photo.

How is Seller Studio different from single-photo tools?

Seller Studio puts the steps you would otherwise repeat for every photo into one process: background removal, centring the product, resizing, compression and adding a logo. The settings apply to the whole set, so every photo gets the same background, margin and size. Before you download, Studio shows which photos may not meet the requirements of the platform you picked.

For one photo, the separate tools are enough: remove background, resize image, image compressor, add a watermark and HEIC to JPG. Studio uses the same accurate AI model as the "Precise" mode of the background remover, and adds marketplace profiles, a technical check and export of the whole set.

Marketplace profiles: which values are requirements and which are our defaults?

A profile sets the size, aspect ratio, format, background, margin and whether you can add a logo. The requirements in the table come from the platforms' published help pages (as of October 2026). Where a platform publishes no value, the setting is our default and you can change it. The settings follow the requirements the platform has published, but that does not guarantee the platform will accept every photo. Allegro and OLX are Polish marketplaces, and their profiles follow the Polish help pages. Other countries may differ.

ProfilePlatform requirementOur setting
AllegroPhoto 1 on a plain white background (RGB 255, 255, 255), with no text, shop logo or watermark. Long side at least 500 px, JPG or PNG. 10 photos on a personal account, 16 on a business account. Sources: image rules, thumbnails (in Polish).2000×2000 px, square, JPG, 6% margin, logo off
Allegro FashionWhite or light grey background. The product or model fills about 80% of the frame, uncropped and seen from the front. Source: Fashion category rules (in Polish).2000×2000 px, square, JPG, 10% margin, white background, logo off
OLXJPG, JPEG or PNG, up to 5 MB and 5000×5000 px per photo. Usually 8 photos, 12 in some categories, 16 for accommodation. Sources: adding a listing (in Polish), photo tips (in Polish).1600×1200 px, 4:3, JPG, white background, 6% margin, file kept under 5 MB, logo off
VintedUp to 20 photos, the first one shows the whole item, no collages. No watermarks or stock photos. The catalogue rules forbid editing photos. Sources: Catalogue Rules, adding a listing (in Polish), photo tips (in Polish).1200×1600 px (3:4), JPG, original background, product not centred, background not removed
Online shopShopify recommends 2048×2048 px and a file under 20 MB. Source: Shopify help.2048×2048 px, square, JPG (PNG and WebP too), white background, 8% margin, logo allowed
CustomNone. You know the requirements of your platform.Starts at 2000×2000 px, JPG, white background. You can pick PNG or WebP and a transparent background.

The Online shop size also fits the recommendations of WooCommerce (at least 800×800 px) and Shoper (about 1000 px on the long side). For platforms without a profile, such as eBay, Etsy or Amazon, choose "Custom" and set the size from their help pages.

What does Allegro require for the main photo?

Photo 1, the listing thumbnail, needs a plain white background (RGB 255, 255, 255) and no frames. It cannot contain text, icons, a shop logo, the seller name or a watermark. The long side must be at least 500 px. One Allegro help page gives 400 px for thumbnails, so the profile warns below 500 px.

Exceptions depend on the category. In fashion categories the background can be white or light grey, and the garment or model should fill about 80% of the frame, uncropped and seen from the front. That is what the Allegro Fashion profile does. Some other categories have their own exceptions to the white background, for example furniture, plants and motoring, and used items on a personal account. Check your category in Allegro help. In the gallery, from photo 2 on, the background can be anything, but a shop logo and shop name are still banned. A manufacturer logo visible on the product itself is allowed.

Studio checks the background colour at the edge of the finished photo. JPG can store white as 254, so it treats channel values of 250 and above as white.

How many photos and what files does OLX accept?

OLX usually accepts up to 8 photos per listing, up to 12 in some categories and up to 16 for accommodation. Each photo can be up to 5 MB and 5000×5000 px, as JPG, JPEG or PNG. OLX help bans photos taken from the internet, manufacturer photos and contact details on the photo. It recommends a light, plain background and the item in the centre without a lot of empty space. OLX operates in several countries, and this profile follows the rules of OLX Poland.

The OLX profile saves JPG files at 1600×1200 px. If a file would go over the limit, "Fit within" lowers the quality only as much as needed. We count the limit cautiously as 5,000,000 bytes. The 4:3 ratio and the white background are our settings, because OLX help mentions a "4:3 format" without explaining it. OLX does not regulate logos or watermarks, but the profile keeps them off by default.

Can you remove the background from photos on Vinted?

The Vinted Catalogue Rules (UK version) say that no image editing is allowed. Removing a background is editing, so the Vinted profile keeps the original background by default and shows a warning if you turn background removal on. Rules differ between countries and change over time, so check them for your account.

Vinted help recommends a neutral background, daylight, no filters and showing any flaws. The first photo should show the whole item, with no collages. Vinted publishes no size, file weight or format requirements, so 1200×1600 px (3:4) and JPG are our settings. The profile crops the photo to 3:4 and resizes it, but does not change the background. When Studio recognises the product, it places the crop so the whole product is inside, and if the product does not fit, it keeps the whole photo and fills the edges with the background colour. We do not know whether Vinted counts plain cropping to a ratio as editing. If you would rather not crop, choose "Same as photo" under "More settings".

How does Studio find the product, and when does it fail?

Without AI, Studio compares the colours at the photo edges with the rest of the frame. When the background is plain (a sheet of paper, a wall, a table top), including a soft change in brightness or darker corners, Studio outlines everything that differs from it and centres that area with the margin you chose. It replaces the background connected to the photo edges with the one you pick, such as white, with a soft transition along the product edges. A shadow under the product is darker than the background, so it stays. Background enclosed by the product, such as inside a mug handle, keeps its colour from the photo. For a PNG with transparency, Studio uses the transparency channel. With AI background removal on, a model cuts out the product itself, usually without the shadow, and Studio centres it on the background you pick.

Without AI, the background stays as it is in the photo when:

  • the background is busy, for example a patterned tablecloth or several objects in the frame. Studio shows a "Busy background" note, does not crop the photo and places the whole photo on the chosen background. Turn on AI background removal.
  • the product fills almost the whole frame. There is nothing to crop, so Studio keeps the whole photo.
  • a white product sits on a white background and the colours do not differ. Studio may not find the product ("No product found" note) or may merge its light parts with the background. AI helps here too.

Other limits:

  • A strong shadow or reflection counts as part of the product, so the product ends up smaller or slightly off centre.
  • On a transparent background without AI, the shadow stays as a light patch. Studio shows a note when this can happen.
  • The AI model may cut thin parts, glass and shiny surfaces less accurately. The mask is made at up to 1024 px and scaled up to the photo. Check the result in the before and after view.

If one photo came out worse, fix it under "This photo", for example by turning AI on for that photo only.

How to shoot product photos with a phone so Studio can handle them

  • Put the product on a plain, light surface, such as a sheet of paper or a wall. The fewer patterns, the more reliably Studio finds the edges of the product without AI.
  • Leave some space around the product. A product touching the photo edge may be cut off, and Studio flags such a photo.
  • Shoot in daylight with the product in focus. Blurred edges give a less accurate cut-out.
  • Get close but keep the whole product in the frame. If the product fills only a small part of the source photo, Studio has to enlarge it a lot and warns that the result may look soft.
  • HEIC photos from an iPhone can be added without converting them first.

Privacy: what stays on your device?

Your photos are not uploaded to a server. Loading, background removal, framing, compression and building the ZIP all happen in your browser. The only things downloaded from the internet are the AI model for background removal and the files needed to run it. Your browser fetches them the first time you turn on background removal (about 100 MB; you see the size before the download and can cancel it), then keeps the model in its cache until you clear the browser data. If you never use AI background removal, the model is never downloaded.

The output files carry no EXIF metadata, including GPS location, because every photo is saved again from scratch. Studio shows how many photos had a location stored.

What does Studio not check, and what does it not guarantee?

The check covers technical parameters: size, file weight, format, number of photos, background colour, the position of the product relative to the edges, how much of the frame the product fills (Allegro Fashion) and whether a logo is on. It does not guarantee that a platform will accept the photo. Studio does not check text, logos or faces in the photo and does not know whether the photo is yours. Platforms change their rules, and some requirements depend on the category, so look at the platform's help before you list a product. For Allegro, the profile warns above 16 photos, although motoring and real estate listings allow 40.

Allegro help describes labelling for images generated or substantially changed by AI. It does not say whether that covers removing a background and replacing it with a plain one, so we do not decide that either. If you use AI to change a photo, check the Allegro rules on labelling.

Background removal speed depends on your device. A graphics card (WebGPU) speeds it up, and without one the model runs on the processor and is slower. Photos larger than 4096 px on the long side are scaled down so the browser does not run out of memory.

Frequently asked questions

What are the Allegro image requirements?

+
The long side must be at least 500 px. Allegro displays photos up to 2560×2560 px, accepts files up to 26 megapixels, sets no aspect ratio and accepts JPG and PNG. The first photo also needs a plain white background. The Allegro profile in Studio makes a 2000×2000 px square JPG. That size is our choice with room to spare, not a platform requirement.

Can I add my logo to photos on Allegro?

+
Not on the main photo. The thumbnail cannot contain a shop logo, the seller name or a watermark, and a shop logo and name are banned in the gallery too. A manufacturer logo visible on the product itself is allowed. That is why the Allegro and Allegro Fashion profiles keep the logo off. You can add your own logo in the Online shop and Custom profiles.

What is the right photo size for Vinted?

+
Vinted publishes no size, file weight or format requirements, so there is no official number. The Vinted profile saves 1200×1600 px (3:4) JPG files, which is our setting. Vinted allows up to 20 photos, and the first one should show the whole item. Vinted rules also say photos cannot be edited, so the profile does not remove the background.

Does Vinted allow removing the background from photos?

+
The Vinted Catalogue Rules (UK version) say that no image editing is allowed. The Vinted profile therefore keeps the original background and warns you if you turn background removal on. Rules can differ between countries, so check them for your account.

How many photos can I add to an OLX listing?

+
Usually 8, in some categories 12, and 16 for accommodation. Each photo can be up to 5 MB and 5000×5000 px as JPG, JPEG or PNG. The OLX profile makes 1600×1200 px JPG files and keeps them under 5 MB. This follows the rules of OLX Poland.

How do I make a white background product photo for free?

+
Pick the Allegro or Online shop profile, turn on "Remove background (AI)" and keep the "White" background. Studio cuts out the product, centres it and places it on white. You can get white without AI too if the photo has a plain background, such as paper, a wall or a table top: Studio finds the product by its colour difference, centres it and turns the background around it white, while the shadow under the product stays. With a busy background and no AI, the whole photo keeps its original background and Studio shows a "Busy background" note. Studio is free, needs no account and adds no watermark.

Can I batch edit product photos?

+
Yes. Add up to 30 photos, each up to 50 MB, and the settings apply to all of them. You can change a single photo under "This photo" and skip any photo in the export. AI background removal works through the photos one by one, and the time depends on your device.

Does Seller Studio work on a phone?

+
Yes, in current browsers on Android and iPhone. On a phone, the preview, settings and photo list stack one below the other, and the download button stays at the bottom of the screen. AI background removal downloads a model of about 100 MB and is demanding, so a weaker phone may run out of memory. For a large set, a computer is easier.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

+
No. Photos are processed in your browser and never leave your device. The only download is the AI model, and only if you turn on background removal. After the first download, the browser keeps it in its cache.

Does it support HEIC photos from an iPhone?

+
Yes. You can add HEIC files like any JPG, and you get them back in the profile format, JPG by default. In browsers that cannot read HEIC on their own, loading takes longer. To convert without editing, use HEIC to JPG.

How do I fix one photo without changing the rest?

+
Select the photo in the list and open the "This photo" tab. Background removal, centring, margin, background, brightness and contrast change there for that photo only. "Restore batch settings" undoes those changes. You can also rotate the photo by 90° or skip it in the export.

What if Studio detects the product wrongly?

+
Turn on "Remove background (AI)", ideally for the problem photo only under "This photo". Without AI, Studio finds the product by how its colour differs from the background. With a busy background, or when the product fills almost the whole frame, it does not crop the photo or replace the background. A white product on white may not be found. A strong shadow counts as part of the product, so the product may come out smaller.

Will my photos definitely pass the platform review?

+
We cannot guarantee that. The settings follow the requirements the platforms have published (as of October 2026), and the check covers technical parameters. It does not look for text, logos or faces in the photo, and platforms can change their rules or make exceptions for some categories.

Do I have to label AI-edited photos on Allegro?

+
Allegro help describes labelling for images generated or substantially changed by AI, but it does not say whether that covers removing a background. We cannot decide that for you. Check the current rules in Allegro help or ask Allegro support.
